Why do my Sugar Gliders smell? I clean the cage everyday, but it just seems like they have an odor on them. They are both males and are not neutered. Could this be a cause? Would you recommend ELIMINA?
Thanks for reaching out about Lemon and including a photo. Sugar gliders, especially males, commonly scent-mark territory. This is a system of communication. Castrating the male could reduce the testosterone-driven odor and scent-marking, but might not eliminate. Using cleansers could confuse your pets resulting in aggression. Castration is your best bet. Good luck.
