Why do my unneutered male sugar gliders have a strong odor?

Urinary tract infections will also result in similar smells but would be uncommon in multiple animals at the same time. Can you separate the animals and determine who's urine is odorous? Causes are likely straining to defecate or urinate. A veterinary visit is recommended as soon as possible because once the rectal tissue dries, unlikely to be saved. Trying to keep it moist with a wet paper towel might work for now but is not a treatment. Good luck.

Male cat urine also has a special "scent" for marking. Neutering will help with this. The yellow stool will require a fecal from your veterinarian to check for parasites. Hope this helps!
