My rabbit's eye blinks a lot and half-opens. Should I see a vet?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Female | unspayed | 7 months old | 0 lbs

My rabbit recently started blinking a lot, but only in one eye. Today she blinks and it only half opens and when I've looked there's nothing around the eye or in it that looks a problem. Should I take her to a vets or find a home solution?

I would definitely take Quaffle into the vet. Eye problems should be taken very seriously, as it's such an important and delicate structure. Leaving them untreated can lead to vision loss. It's very important to have any eye problem examined and treated by a vet right away. I would take Quaffle into a vet now.
