My hamster fell. What signs of injury should I look for after a fall?

  Limping, inappetence, lethargy, signs of pain, aggressive behaviour, constipation.
  If she is not showing any sign in 48 hours that means she will be perfectly all right.

  Poor Lucy. I worry she has injured her leg. It could be a soft tissue injury like a sprain or a broken bone. You can try to rest her (no ball or wheel and no jumping or climbing and no running around the house) for a few days to see if she improves. If she isn’t improving or gets worse or if there is any swelling/bruising, I would have your vet take a look at her. Your vet will be able to take X-rays if needed and start her on some proper pain meds for her size. I hope this helps!

  I am sorry to hear about your hamster. It is difficult to see what is going on in the pictures due to her very small size. I am making an assumption that you are a child and this is why you say you can't go to the vet? If so, you need to let an adult know about your hamster's problem. Unfortunately it sounds like your hamster has wounded it's leg and possibly even has a fracture. It sounds like she is in pain. They vet may try splinting her leg or may recommend amputation. They may also be able to prescribe pain medication for her. If her leg is not fixable then humane euthanasia (putting her to sleep) may be the kindest option for her, as it sounds like she is suffering and no animal should have to live in pain.

  I am sorry to hear this about your hamster but it sounds like you are making the right decision.
  
  It's hard to know what is going on with her. She could have a severe infection, like pneumonia (common in hamsters), or possibly cancer. Hamsters life span is about 1-2 years so she is fairly old for a hamster. She may be passing away from old age.
