You can safely use it, just keep Mia out of the room where you use it until the product is dry. I would have her visit a friend while you treat your house and car, and once it's dry, you can take her home.

Hello. Most sprays are safe for pets once the spray has dried, or has been watered into the lawn. I would be sure there are no food or water bowls that might have been sprayed. Either toss them or wash in hot soapy water. The same goes for any chew toys out there. But generally, once a spray has dried, or the area has been watered down & allowed to dry, pets can roam freely, again. The only concerns would be if your dog eats a lot of grass, or finds something to chew on that was left out & sprayed, so keep an eye out for this. Hello. Porous versus solid surfaces will vary, but if you do not apply it too heavily, your carpets & furniture should dry within an hour or so, depending on temperture in your home. If you can set up fans, this will speed drying. Then, just use your hand to judge how dry the cloth surfaces are. Once it feels dry to your hand, your kitties can enter the room. It depends what spray you used, with most spray it should be fine after 12 hours but some products have longer effect in the environment, i recommend to read the cautions that needs to be taken on the spray label.

Topical products can take a few hours to absorb into the skin. If applied more to the fur than skin it may take a bit longer. Ideally I would leash walk them until the area appears dry to look and touch to prevent them from rubbing it off, or getting dirt caked in the application spot. Licking and swallowing Revolution can produce serious side effects therefore you should separate Nelson and Oscar until the skin is completely dry. It normally takes 2-3 hrs for Revolution to be fully absorbed by the skin so there is not need to separate them for longer than that.

I would wait at least 30 minutes after the room has been treated before letting him in the room (crated or not). The fumes can be harmful. I do not know what product your exterminator is going to be using so it is difficult to give you any further information.
