I do not know if the manufacturer has an actual designated time where it is safe, probably because it largely depends on how much you are using and the size of the space in which it's being used. I would imagine that it is safe to return once the area is completely dry and the room has been completely ventilated for at least 30 minutes or more. Yes, it is fine to use Frontline on your older dog with Kobi in the home. According to Frontline FAQs on their website, it is safe to use it on the puppy as long as he is eight weeks of age, but given that he is small in weight, to be safe, keep the older dog away from the puppy until the Frontline is completely dried, about 24 hours. If you take all the precautions it should be fine. The product must be COMPLETELY dry on the dogs before the cat comes into contact with them and you need to be sure to get rid of the packaging so the cat cannot come in to contact with that either.

Hi there, It kind of depends on the product, but I wouldn't use it on her if it's going to be a slight overdose. Sometimes products have a wider safety margin, but flea products can be toxic at higher doses. Ideally go buy a product that is her size, and that kills adult fleas and their eggs. You can also give her a bath to drown some of them. Sorry you have to deal with that, but congrats on your puppy. Also let the shelter know they have fleas... These are given every 30 days and need to be used for at least 3 months. You must also treat all the pets in the home. The fipronil products are safe to use at home- just follow the instructions on the packaging. The most important treatment is treating Mayor monthly with a product from his vet.
