Hi, I just got my puppy and want to teach him to do his business on training pads in a specific area. What is the best method to teach him this?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Simba. Take him to the potty pad frequently and give him a command such as "go potty!". It doesn't matter which phrase you use, just be consistent and say it every time. When he goes, give him a treat right there and lots of praise. It will take lots of repetition, but he will catch on. Do not punish him for accidents. If you catch him going elsewhere in the house, tell him "no!". Quickly take him to the potty pad and give him his command. I hope this information helps!
