Stray dog has bloody poop and heavy breathing. What should I do?

It's not good that Jack is pooping blood! This can be caused by trauma to the GI tract, a foreign body, GI ulcers, eating something toxic, intestinal parasites, or hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. There are some very serious causes behind a dog pooping blood, and when this happens, a immediately trip to the vet is recommended. I would take Jack into an ER vet or find a vet on call to see him ASAP so he can have the cause of his bloody feces diagnosed and treated.

It sounds like she needs to have some testing done to determine what the underlying problem is so that she gets the proper treatment. A pet that is having difficulty breathing, not eating and blood in the stool (could be due to stress), sounds like a possible lower airway infection or even pneumonia. She needs to go to another vet for a second opinion, bloodwork and chest radiographs to evaluate her lungs. Or if your pet has not been vaccinated for parvovirus then there is a potential she could have parvo and the abnormal breathing is due to pain. Either condition warrants a veterinary visit asap to best diagnose your pet properly so that treatment can be stopped right away and hopefully you don't have to deal with a terrible tragedy involving your pet if this is dealt with quickly and efficiently.

It sounds as Jacob is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti antibiotic course and a special food for a few days in order to get better.
