Unfortunately it is a normal behavior for dogs to eat their feces. For a puppy this age, it is best to work on potty training so that he doesn’t have the opportunity to eat feces. Make sure to take him it after eating dinner and again before going to bed so that he has plenty of opportunities to eliminate outside. You may need to get up in the middle of the night for a couple weeks, as well.

This generally doesn't take long, take him out to the same place when you expect he needs to go (after sleeping /playing /eating etc) or any time you notice him going to his indoor spot. Praise him for going in the right place and then give him treats/play ball etc as a reward. Do not punish indoor accidents and if he is used to training pads or newspaper move these outside the door if possible

It seems she might need a small kennel. There should only be enough room for her to stand up and turn a complete circle. Any other room then they tend to soil in one area and lay in another so they do not get dirty. If she is experiencing inflammation in her gut, this could speed up the GI transit time meaning she will need to go to the bathroom. If no medical cause can be found, I recommend to feed the brand Royal Canin because it tends to be a low residue diet (as long as it is not the 'diet' formula) and pets who eat this diet tend to produce less stool. I would also switch her to twice a daily feeding (6pm latest) and make sure she has an evening bowel movement before bed. This will help to not make her have a BM in the middle of the night. It's possible she is getting mixed signals from daycare but it's impossible to say for sure. I recommend crating her when you are not directly watching her and at night. Some dogs have their own schedules and they are pretty stubborn about it! You could try going on a long walk 30 minutes after eating, sometimes that will stimulate the bowels. But otherwise, he probably just needs some more time to adjust. Make sure when you take him out in the middle of the night, that it is "boring" for Walter. Let him out, then take him back to bed. No talking or playing or treats.
