Can my sister take my puppy to the vet for its second vaccinations?

Sure, any vet can give the second set of vaccines. Just take her vaccine records with you so the vet know what has been given and when. Make sure to get a copy of any vaccines given so you can give it to the first vet.

Sure that is no problem to change locations. Just make sure you request that the initial clinic send his medical records to the new clinic. That way the new doctor can review his record prior to the visit so they know what vaccines he is due for. At your visit with the new doctor just verify they have the medical record so everyone is on the same page for what your pup needs at the visit. No you will not face legal trouble at all. What the vet will do is examine your girl and make recommedations for her health. They can discuss which vaccines will keep her safe and healthy, which will likely be distemper parvo and rabies. It will also likely be recommended to check for heartworms and GI parasites if she is not on a preventative. And if heartworm negative consider starting a preventative. As she is unspayed they will also likely discuss this with you and what to monitor for in the future if not spayed. I assume by papers you mean his vaccine records. It’s ideal to have the vaccine records but in general it is not necessary. Booster vaccines for puppies should be given 3-4 weeks apart so his vaccine booster can be given anywhere from July 6 to the 13th. So, I think you are fine taking him 5 days from now. Yes, as long as the other dog is fully vaccinated this should not be a problem. If the other dog is around dog parks or goes to boarding facilities, then I would try and distance the two dogs while they are in the same household.
