Sure that is no problem to change locations. Just make sure you request that the initial clinic send his medical records to the new clinic. That way the new doctor can review his record prior to the visit so they know what vaccines he is due for. At your visit with the new doctor just verify they have the medical record so everyone is on the same page for what your pup needs at the visit. An initial vaccine should only be given after a full wellness check by a vet to ensure there are no concerns or contraindications and that the puppy is healthy enough to receive vaccines. Puppies are not old enough for their first vaccines until they are 6-8 weeks of age. The vaccine is ineffective before that point due to the maternal antibodies present in their body. Most vaccine reactions happen within hours of the vaccine. So if after 2 days, he is not showing any symptoms of reaction (extreme lethardy, vomiting, diarrhea, swelling, hives, difficulty breathing), he will likely be fine.
