Why did my Siberian husky puppy's eye look weird then return to normal?

Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Female | unspayed | 5 months and 9 days old | 35 lbs

Hi! I have a purebred Siberian Husky female puppy. Two days ago, she had something weird with her eye (see pic). She has never done this before and she stayed like this for a half hour slowly returning to NORMAL. It happened during howling, (I was making noises to get her and my other husky to do a howling party) she also lost a tooth (baby) that had been yellowed and cracked at the time for a while now and had a new canine growing in. She finally lost it around the time of the incident.

Sienna’s eye looks very abnormal in your picture and it’s odd that it returned to normal in it’s own. In the picture it looks like she could have anterior uveitis or inflammation in the eye. This could happen secondary to infections, trauma, or cataracts which can be hereditary in Huskies. I doubt the tooth is related. Even though her eye seems normal. Ow it might still be a good idea to have her examined by your vet. They can look closely with good lighting for subtle changes and examine the lens and back of the eye (retina).

Why is my old Husky's eye covered from bottom with no symptoms?

I think you are talking about Taya’s right eye correct? That looks like it’s her 3rd eyelid which dogs and cats have but humans don’t. Many times the protruding eye lid can indicate a change in the innervation to the eye, a change in the eye pressure or sometimes a tumor in the area. I would recommend to make an appointment with the veterinarian for an exam. Make sure Kaya does not scratch or rub at the eye lid as this may cause damage and she has an important tear gland within the structure. My 4-month-old husky puppy has red eye whites. Is it serious?

He can have an eye infection, but he may also have gotten dust in his eyes. If he recently was around other dogs I recommend bringing him to a veterinarian since it can be pink eye. Otherwise, I recommend rinsing his eyes with saline and if the redness doesn't resolve or gets worse bring him to a veterinarian. He may need eye drops. My Siberian husky has eye discharge. When should I worry about it?

My husky's eye is red and squinting. Eye wash isn't working, help!

All I can see is that the eye is red and he is squinting it a little. It could be due to an injury to the cornea or some type of trauma. I highly recommend you have him to your vet for an exam. The eye needs to be checked with an ophthalmoscope and have a stain test - obviously we can only tell so much from a photo. Why does my husky have red dots in her eyes after spay surgery?

If Luna has blue eyes this could be normal Variance. However, if you have not seen these spots before and if the become bigger or increase in number you should take Luna back to the veterinarian who did the spay.
