My puppy has white pimple-like bumps on her genital area. What is it?

It looks like a pimple, a minor skin infection. You can use a Benzoyl peroxide topical cream or an antiseptic cream in order to help it resolve quicker, but otherwise it should resolve itself without treatment.

Those bumps could be a few things such as blocked pores, an infection or related to her anal glands. These lesions generally resolve on their own without treatment but you should monitor the area closely. Also make sure she does not traumatize the area. If the lesions are not improving after 2 weeks or if they get worse at any point, have the lesions examined by the veterinarian. Pyoderma is usually caused by *Staphylococcus* bacteria (or *Staph* for short). There is nothing to do about it in most cases. Typically, this condition will resolve on its own . If she licks it or if the condition worsens or spreads, have her physically examined by your veterinarian. Hi there! Puppies get "puppy pyoderma" often which often presents as you have shown in the pictures. This is very common, and easy to treat. Sometimes antibiotics are not required and they go away on their own. You can try to use chlorhexidine containing pads (such as the Douxo chlorhexidine 3% PS pads) to clean the are twice daily for 7 days. You may find these online or at your local pet store. Sometimes it does require antibiotics to take care of it. You can bathe him with a medicated shampoo containing chlorhexidine which you may get at your local pet store. You can bathe him twice weekly for 2 weeks. If it does not improve, have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Good luck!
