Those bumps could be a few things such as blocked pores, an infection or related to her anal glands. These lesions generally resolve on their own without treatment but you should monitor the area closely. Also make sure she does not traumatize the area. If the lesions are not improving after 2 weeks or if they get worse at any point, have the lesions examined by the veterinarian. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This depends on an examination though these could be benign or malignant growths. Given his young age, this is most likely a benign change and again an examination would help to determine this. This is often differentiated by a test called a fine needle aspirate (FNA) which is a pain free, inexpensive and easy procedure which in most cases will help reach a diagnosis. Sometimes a biopsy is needed for a definitive diagnosis. I recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. I am really hoping for something benign. I suspect that these are little bumps are due to a bacterial infection (pyoderma). Puppies commonly get this on their bellies and they usually go away with good cleaning. I recommend cleaning the belly with a medicated wipe or shampoo (can get this at the pet store) once a day until the bump(s) are gone. If it seems to get worse, then you'll want to take Mia into the vet for an exam. It is likely a condition called [puppy pyoderma](https://www.petcoach.co/dog/condition/staphylococcal-pyoderma-1). It is similar to acne in babies. Pyoderma is usually caused by *Staphylococcus* bacteria (or *Staph* for short). There is nothing to do about it in most cases. Typically, this condition will resolve on its own . If she licks it or if the condition worsens or spreads, have her physically examined by your veterinarian. If there is just one area and it improves daily then it is unlikely to be problematic. Hi there! Puppies get "puppy pyoderma" often which often presents as you have shown in the pictures. This is very common, and easy to treat. Sometimes antibiotics are not required and they go away on their own. Hello, thank you for your question about Sequoia. Based on what you are describing it sounds like she may be dealing with puppy pyoderma/impetigo, secondary to a bacterial skin infection. This is not an uncommon infection in puppies. Depending on the severity this condition is treating with topical skin cleansers or if severe can require antibiotics. It sounds like Sequoia's condition may be more mild and respond to gentle cleansing, however I would recommend consulting with your veterinarian so that they can decide if Sequoia needs a course of antibiotics to help these lesions resolve.
