My dog has white pimple-like bumps on testicles. Should I worry?

As this can be caused by a number of things (trauma, minor infections, irritation of the skin, etc), it's always a good idea to have a vet take a look in person when there is a sudden change on the skin, especially if the change is rapid, painful, or bothersome to Banks. In the meantime, it's a good idea to keep the area clean and dry, and continue to monitor it for any additional changes, or see if it resolves. If the spot continues to grow in size, is bothersome or painful, begins to ooze debris, becomes discolored, or doesn't resolve in a few days, a vet check is best to rule out more serious issues.

Sometimes it does require antibiotics to take care of it. You can bathe him with a medicated shampoo containing chlorhexidine which you may get at your local pet store. You can bathe him twice weekly for 2 weeks. If it does not improve, have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Good luck!

This is often differentiated by a test called a fine needle aspirate (FNA) which is a pain free, inexpensive and easy procedure which in most cases will help reach a diagnosis. Sometimes a biopsy is needed for a definitive diagnosis. I recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. If it looks like pimples it's probably it, You can use a Benzoyl peroxide topical cream or an antiseptic cream in order to help it resolve quicker, but otherwise it should resolve itself without treatment.

This could be a bacterial skin infection. If any urine gets trapped on his fur or any moisture, this can predispose them to infection. I would recommend using a spray such as malacetic conditioning spray and apply to the area until resolved. If it does not resolve, I would recommend having a veterinarian take a look at him so that the most appropriate treatment can be administered. I hope this helps! Hello. Thank you for using PetCoach. He is very handsome! Those bumps look like a local allergic reaction. I suggest you try using this spray a few times a day. Spray the solution on a cotton ball and then wipe it on the affected areas. If there is no improvement in a few days then you should get him to your vet for an exam.
