My puppy's back legs seem weak and walk improperly. Is this normal?

I would suggest taking Aurora's pup for a vet exam. It could be a congesnital disorder or the pup may have been injuries inadvertently if Aurora sat on her or moved her. The earlier treatment instituted in some of these cases the better the chance the pup will have normal function.

Hello. This is most likely just due to how the puppy developed in utero. Hopefully, with time, the legs will strengthen. You can very gently manipulate the legs, doing range of motion exercises, but it would be best to have your veterinarian examine the puppy & show you the best way to help this little one. Hello. This pup has a deformity that involves the joints of the rear legs. You should have your veterinarian assess the puppy immediately and see if there is a way to tape or wrap them to help. This will probably not correct in its own without some type of support wrap and physical therapy and even then it may not get better. Please have your vet examine the puppy ASAP. When puppies have limb deformities or difficulties walking normally, I'm always concerned that there could be growth issues. These can be due to nutritional deficiencies, trauma, or hereditary bone or joint problems passed on by the parents. Since you've stated that he's very skinny, I'm especially concerned about his nutrition. King needs to see a vet, not just for this problem but because he needs to start getting routine vaccinations and anti-parasite medications. No, this isn't normal and this puppy needs to see a vet as soon as possible for this problem. It needs to be corrected now or it could be permanent. Please take him into a vet right away. Best of luck

Unfortunately, this sounds like a serious condition that needs to be seen by your vet again right away. If your regular vet couldn't help, seeking out another vet in person, or a specialist such as a neurologist may be a good idea to see what is going on with the puppy. Using aids such as a towel under the belly may help with walking and getting around, however the seizures are worrisome and need care in person.

Nothing seems abnormal based on this pictures but that does not replace a good exam. If you are worried about confirmation or a bone problem then she needs to see a vet. They can actually move her legs evaluate the joints and bones to make sure there are no problems. If indicated they can even do an X-ray although she is too youn for hip dysplasia to show up
