My 3-month puppy has vomiting, diarrhea, and fever. What should I do?

Poor guy. It sounds like your puppy likely has a severe infection. I would highly recommend getting him seen first thing in the morning at any vet that is open and able. If an ER vet is the only option, then I would highly recommend going there. The vet needs to check your pup for parvovirus. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Shadow! Some dogs can not handle people food due to sensitive stomachs. Shadow is a bit young to be fed pizza. It likely caused inflammation of his stomach and intestines or pancreatitis. he could also be vomiting and not eating for other reasons: foreign body ingestion (something is stuck requiring surgery), viral (parvo) or bacterial infections, intestinal parasites, toxin ingestion, other food allergies or sensitivities. Since Shadow is so young if he is still vomiting I recommend he see your Vet today. If the vomiting has stopped I would try to feed him a bland diet of boiled chicken or hamburger with rice. Feed 1 cup per 20 lbs per day for 3-5 days then transition him back to his puppy food. If he continue to not eat he should be seen by your Vet before the weekend. She might have eaten something spoiled that is causing this. withhold food for 8 hours then offer Ava boiled boneless chicken and rice every 6 hours in small portions. if she is eating and not vomiting, continue with this diet for 2 days. After 2 days, you can put her back gradually on her normal food. If she continues vomiting or is not eating, take her to the vet to get treatment.

Young puppies need nutrition and will Parrish quickly without it. Viral infections such as parvovirus can cause fever and inappetance as well as many other possibilities. I'm sorry to hear about Shadow! The stretching and pacing is a sign of abdominal pain. This could be something as simple as gastroenteritis (inflammation of the stomach and intestines) caused by eating something naughty. This may be especially true if he only vomited a few times and has since stopped. However, this could also be something very serious such as pancreatitis or an intestinal blockage (especially worrisome if he is known to eat toys, socks, rocks, or other non-food items). If he is not fully vaccinated, parvovirus is also a life-threatening possibility. Because of these possibilities, I strongly recommend you see your vet. Based on the symptoms you have outlined, I would guess that Chai most likely has some sort of infection somewhere within the body. Given that there is some vomiting, a reasonable assumption would be somewhere within the digestive tract, liver, or pancreas. Only blood work would provide us with enough information to at least point us in one direction or another. Chai is going to require some medications to address the vomiting and fever, as well as some fluids most likely to correct any dehydration that is taking place. If there is an infection somewhere within the body, at least one antimicrobial drug will be required to clear things up. I don't know about the Philippines, but in USA most of the drugs that will be required to help Chai are prescription only, meaning you will have to find a veterinarian to help you. Some other possibilities other than an infection would include organ failure, an endocrine condition called Addison's disease, and even cancer. Monty sounds like he is very sick! It sounds like he has only had one round of vaccinations, so he is still susceptible to parvovirus, which can be a life threatening infection. Even if he does not have a parvo infection, vomiting and diarrhea can quickly dehydrate a young puppy. I recommend taking him to your veterinarian. Your veterinarian may want to test for parvovirus. He may need hospitalization and medications to help him feel better. Hope he feels better soon!
