My puppy ate pizza and is now vomiting, has diarrhea, won't eat.

Oh my. Poor guy. If he has a fever this can be caused by a bacterial or viral infection (i.e. Parvovirus if he isn't fully vaccinated). I would have him tested for parvovirus first and if that comes up negative he needs full panel bloodwork and a urinalysis. to fully evaluate him. He should be on antibiotics and fluid therapy to help bring down his fever. He also needs anti-vomit medication to prevent him from becoming dehydrated due to excessive vomiting. If his condition has not improved within 24-48 hrs, then you should consider having him hospitalized so that he can get around the clock care and treatment. Poor guy. I do hope that your pup Shadow is able to make a full and speedy recovery from his illness. For tonight you can try feeding him some slghly warmed up cans of baby food (meat and vegetables or squash) to try to entice him to eat. Only a small amount at a time to hopefully not induce his vomiting. Best wishes and take care.

Regardless of eating the sock or not, he is still vomiting, so I would recommend taking him to a vet right away. He is young and a lot of vomiting can cause dehydration that puppies cannot recover from on their own. The vet may want to check for intestinal parasites and parvo virus (common causes of vomiting in puppies) and may also take an x-ray to look for a foreign object in the intestinal tract. If no cause for vomiting is found, the doctor can treat the vomiting and replace the fluids Shiro has lost so he doesn't get sicker. I'm so sorry to hear that Diablo isn't feeling well. Without knowing Diablo's age, it's hard to know exactly how concerned to be, but vomiting, weakness, and not eating are very concerns signs. I would recommend taking Diablo to his veterinarian as soon as possible. If that's not possible, feed him a bland diet of boiled chicken (or other simple meat) and rice, with some extra water mixed in. Without treatment, he may keep getting more sick. I would be concerned about parvo virus, an intestinal blockage, or something else depending on his age.

He ate something his body isn't used to and there were sharp bone fragments. He could also have a piece of the bone stuck somewhere. I would recommend taking him to the vet because he is young and I don't want him to dehydrate. They may need to take X-rays. They can then give him medications to calm his stomach. In the future I would not recommend giving Shadow any bones for fear of the above things. Good luck and kisses to Shadow!

Rockie is adorable and I'm sorry to hear that he isn't feeling well. After eating a heavy, greasy meal, he may have developed gastroenteritis (inflammation in his stomach and intestines) or pancreatitis. Aside from assuring that he is drinking water and offering a bit of a bland diet (boiled white meat chicken and rice) as you have done, there isn't anything more that can be done at home. Young puppies are more susceptible to the effects of dehydration than adult dogs and need to be treated a bit more urgently. At this point, Rockie needs to take a trip to the vet for an exam, diagnostic testing and supportive care (IV fluids and medications). I hope that he is feeling better soon!

I'm sorry to hear about Shadow! The stretching and pacing is a sign of abdominal pain. This could be something as simple as gastroenteritis (inflammation of the stomach and intestines) caused by eating something naughty. This may be especially true if he only vomited a few times and has since stopped. However, this could also be something very serious such as pancreatitis or an intestinal blockage (especially worrisome if he is known to eat toys, socks, rocks, or other non-food items). If he is not fully vaccinated, parvovirus is also a life-threatening possibility. Because of these possibilities, I strongly recommend you see your vet. Hello, sorry to hear about Shadow. Its likely that he has a dietary indiscretion from getting into the garbage. These are often self limiting and resolve with a bland diet and occasionally necessitates anti-nausea medications and fluids. However, if he ingested any foreign material from the garbage that could be entrapped within his GI tract and causing an obstruction, then this may require further assessment by a veterinarian. If Shadow has persistent vomiting (more than 3 times per day), lethargy, decreased appetite, painful abdomen, and occasionally diarrhea, then have him evaluated promptly by a veterinarian then. In the interim you may offer a bland diet of plan white rice, skinless and boneless boiled chicken and low fat cottage cheese for 5 days. Hope this helps and best of luck.
