My puppy has stomach spots and a watery, gunky eye. Should I worry?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Male | 2 months and 4 days old | 3 lbs

I noticed after going outside that my puppy has 3 pustules on his stomach around his groin. One of his eyes has been watering as well as having a little bit of gunk as well for the last day or two. Is this something I would be worried about?

I am not too concerned about the pustule. I am more concerned about the watery eye. Since Nash is only 2 months old he could have a virus. He could also have a bacterial infection in his eye.

If his eye wasn't watery and having gunk come out of it I would recommend cleaning the one pustule and monitoring. If it didn't go away then would recommend a veterinarian but since he is having eye discharge also I do recommend a veterinarian within the next day or two.

Your veterinarian may give antibiotics orally and/or drops for Nash's eyes.
