Why is my puppy sick and sleepy after flea and tick medicine?

I agree, it's impossible to know if this is unrelated (symptoms like this could be due to a compressed disc in the spine or cranial abdominal pain) or a reaction to the flea medication. I recommend to play it safe and have Harvey examined by the veterinarian. The doctor will likely get an idea of pain or skeletal abnormality from the physical exam. Flea bites can drain a significant amount of blood and nutrients from the body, so when a severe attack as occurred, what you are describing is very much expected. If the exposure was not significant, it is possible that Milo may just be having a reaction to the medication itself. If this is the case, he should come out of it relatively soon. Poor Sam. It’s possible he may have had a reaction to the medication. I recommend to wash him with dish soap to help remove some of the medication. I also recommend to have Sam examined by his veterinarian for some bloodwork to make sure there has not been any liver damage. Stick needs to be examined by the veterinarian. It's possible this is a reaction to the flea product but it could be coincidental and be related to getting into something, liver disease or a systemic infection. Have him examined today. I hope they figure it out quickly.

I would take Chappie into a vet immediately. It's very concerning that she isn't eating or drinking at all, and with the vomiting, she will quickly become dehydrated. Usually signs of illness would start pretty shortly after. The only reason it could be delayed is it Peanut waited awhile and then managed to lick the stuff off his fur. Depending on the type of drug that was used, some have antidotes while others are just treated supportively. There are no antibiotics that are used to help with this kind of issue, unless the vet believes that one might assist with inflammation or prevent a secondary infection. Based on the clinical signs you have described, the best medication that the vet could prescribe would be something to nausea, diarrhea, and acid production. In terms of diagnostics I would run if you came into my office with these symptoms, I would definitely recommend starting with some baseline blood work and potentially some x-rays to rule out a possible foreign body in the intestines.
