Puppy has a round bump on its foot with no symptoms. What is it?

I'm glad to hear that this lesion isn't bothering Benji! It's certainly possible that this lesion is a benign papilloma-like lesion, but it could also be another benign or malignant type of mass. The only way to know for sure is to perform a biopsy of the lesion for pathologist evaluation, or at the very least, your vet could draw a few cells out with a needle for microscopic evaluation (fine needle aspiration). The tricky part with lumps and bumps on legs is that they're more difficult to remove if they grow because there is less extra skin that can be used to close surgically. For this reason in particular, I recommend taking Benji to your vet sooner rather than later to have this lesion examined in person. Even though he isn't bothered by the lesion when you touch it, I do recommend putting an e-collar (cone) on him until his appointment because the lesion looks a bit red and weepy. This can occur if he's been licking at it, even if you haven't seen him do so. I hope that he's on the mend soon!

Hi there. This is most likely a histiocytoma. They will often regress on their own within a few weeks to a month. My suggestion would be to take Hazel to your vet for an exam so you can get a more definitive diagnosis. Hi there. This looks like a histiocytoma. If it is, it should regress (go away on it's own) within a month or two. I would not be overly worried about this right now. I would recommend taking Franklin to the vet to have this bump checked out. It could be a benign mass, a histiocytoma, that will self resolve but if it is something more serious, like a mast cell tumor, it should be removed as quickly as possible. You veterinarain can do a cytology of the mass and determine the cell type/origin and this will help determine what next steps need to be taken. I hope this helps. This appears like a wart, or possibility a sebaceous adenoma. I would have to examine it closer to be sure though. These are benign masses that usually go away on their own. It's best to have your vet examine it to be sure. This isn’t a pimple. It is a small mass in the top layer of the skin. It could be a cyst, a wart, or a benign or cancerous growth. The only way to know for sure is to have your vet collect a sample with a needle to examine under a slide or to remove the whole mass and send it to the lab for evaluation. Until that happens, you can watch it for changes in size, color, texture, etc. If you notice any changes, I would call your vet to see if they can get you in sooner.

I would be concerned that these bumps might be warts, papillomas or even a histiocytoma. A histiocytoma is a non cancerous mass that grows in young dogs. Typicaly it will go away on its own in a few months. However warts and papillomas will not. I would recommend taking Kali to a vet to determine what is the cause and discuss surgical removal if they progress or cause discomfort to Kali
