Can I give my puppy Praziquantel soon after other worm medications?

I would wait one week before giving the nitroscanate since it also contains a medication to treat tapeworms (as does the Droncit). If you can give a different dewormer that does not contain a tapeworm medication (like Drontal - not Drontal Plus) then you can give it now.

Unless your vet gave you specific instructions, the dewormers are different medications and do not interact, so they can be given at the same time. The only reason to separate the dewormers would be if there is a large worm infestation and the deworming is likely to cause diarrhea. To be on the safe side, you could wait 2 days after the roundworm medication to give the tapeworm medication. No, it's not too early to give Twinkie another dose; however pyrantel pamoate does not kill tapeworms. Praziquantel does, and that available by prescription from your vet. Unfortunately it's illegal for use to prescribe any drugs or give dosage instructions without seeing the cat in person. You will need to take her to a vet to get praziquantel, and they can give you the dose and schedule. Best of luck.

Praziquantel is typically given as a single dose. It may need to be repeated in 2 weeks. According to package information, one 34mg tablet is the dose given to dogs between 6 and 10 pounds. Hello. There is no need to separate these two products. There are some heartworm products that should not be given within 2 weeks of some of tick & flea products such as Bravecto & Nexgard, but administering a dewormer will not cause a problem with your flea product.
