Fendbendazole and Trifexis will both treat for roundworms. Praziquantel only deworms for tapeworms, not roundworms. You can give the praziquantel but it is best to wait at least 24 hours after you have given the others before doing so.

Fred is such a cutie! I'm sorry he's been so ill lately, however. Given that he just stopped vomiting, I would hold off on giving him the Drontal for now. A side effect of Drontal can be GI upset, and it would be better to wait until he hasn't been vomiting for 48 hours before giving it to him.

You can give him Drontal, which kills tapeworms. Heartgard contains ivermectin and pyrantel pamoate, while Drontal contains praziquantel which is needed to kill tapeworms. Do not give them that the same time, but it's fine to give a day or two apart.

Unless your vet gave you specific instructions, the dewormers are different medications and do not interact, so they can be given at the same time. The only reason to separate the dewormers would be if there is a large worm infestation and the deworming is likely to cause diarrhea. To be on the safe side, you could wait 2 days after the roundworm medication to give the tapeworm medication. I would probably recommend waiting 3-7 days and give her a full dose instead, don't try mixing it with water as it becomes very bad to the taste this way, either mix it with food without breaking it or give it manually until swallowed.

None of these medications should cause problems related to Tasha's MDR1 gene. Personally, I prefer giving oral deworming medications rather than injections, but as I said, this is purely personal preference. Either Droncit or Dolpac 10 should be effective to treat tapeworms and it should not be an issue to administer the additional active ingredients in Dolpac 10. Many deworming medications contain more than one active ingredient and simply provide for a more broad spectrum of treatment. If Tasha would experience a reaction to the Dolpac 10 (which would be quite unusual), you could also ask your vet if he can prescribe Droncit tablets from either a local or online pharmacy if you are more comfortable with this course of treatment.
