Why is my puppy not eating, bloated, and trying to vomit?

If Autumn is attempting to vomit without producing anything I’d recommend seeing an emergency veterinarian right away. This can be a sign of gastric dilation and volvulus (GDV) also known as bloat which is a life threatening emergency. While it would be unusual for a dog as young as Autumn to develop GDV her breed is predisposed, and it would be safest to see a vet. They can take an x-ray which would diagnose the disease or look for an obstruction - if she doesn’t have this problem they can prescribe medication that could help with nausea.

This is very very concerning and he needs to be taken back to a veterinarian. There is a possibility that he has an intestinal obstruction, or other serious intestinal problem, The next step would be xrays to see whether there is excessive gas and something blocking the intestine or stomach exit (pylorus). Please take him back to your veterinarian for a recheck.

Not eating for 3 days is serious for a puppy. They are not able to regulate blood sugar like an adult and they don't have the same reserves either. The swollen belly could be related and could indicate parasites, a blockage, an infection or a heart condition. I recommend to have your puppy examined today by the veterinarian. It sounds as Japjap is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet urgently, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

Poor girl. Unfortunately my major concern here is that Winnie may have a foreign body. I would highly recommend fasting her for 6hrs and then offer her a small portion of boiled plain chicken or lean ground turkey and white rice and small amounts of non-flavored Pedialyte to keep her hydrated until you can get her seen by your vet. The vet needs to do a complete physical examination and likely will recommend x-rays if a foreign body ingestion is suspected. Best case scenario is that Winnie has a really upset stomach from something she ingested and not a true obstruction. So cute! She could have a parasite, infection, or an upset stomach from something she ate. You could take a stool sample to her vet and have it tested for parasites and then your vet can prescribe an appropriate dewormer based on the results. You could also add a probiotic to her diet and see if that helps, too.

I'm very sorry this puppy is so sick! Newborn puppies are extremely fragile, and when they are sick, they have to see a vet immediately. She needs medical treatment from a vet right away for her best chance of survival, and I would take her into one now.
