Unfortunately, there are no home remedies for worms in puppies. She will need a deworming treatment for her worms, and you can get one OTC from your vet's clinic (you don't need an exam) or from the pet store. I recommend giving Zura Panacur.

We can not prescribe medications on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach as the laws require a vet to examine an animal in order to do so. I am glad that Coco is eating, I would start him on a bland diet of boiled chicken or hamburger with rice. This bland diet helps bind up the stool and usually helps the diarrhea. You can also start a dog probiotic, I like Purina Fortiflora. I would also deworm him with pyrantal pamoate or panacur. If the diarrhea started after starting the neopeptine and/or the liv52 I would stop them. I personally do not use human supplements in pets and urge caution in doing so. If the bland diet and probiotic doesn't help Coco needs to be examined by a Vet near you. I hope this helps and I wish Coco the very best!

From your description, it sounds most likely that Hummer has hookworms, but roundworms are also possible. While it would be ideal to have a stool sample analyzed by his vet to determine if any other parasites are present as well (many can only be seen microscopically), there are a number of dewormers available over the counter to treat both roundworms and hookworms. Dewormers containing either pyrantel pamoate or fenbendazole are generally effective against these parasites as long as you are dosing for Hummer's current body weight. Be sure to repeat the dose in 3 weeks. Clean up your yard well after each bowel movement to prevent Hummer from becoming reinfected with these worms. I hope this helps and that all goes well!

Worming puppies properly involves multiple doses to clear out as many of the parasites as possible. The wormers kill the adult worms but then over a 2-3 week period, the immature stages can migrate into the gut again, so repeated treatments are needed. So worms may be causing this problem or many other things including a food change (too rapid), dietary indiscretion (eating things he is not supposed to eat), foreign bodies, infections, etc. It's best to have your vet evaluate Bear again and decide what tests or treatment that he may need to help clear up the problem. However, if the puppy is eating, playing and drinking, and is acting normally, then you can wait until tomorrow. I would just inform the new owners about the worms, and have them bring Dan to the vet right away. The vet will get proper deworming performed, as well as vaccines. Best of luck with them!

Drontal is licensed for puppies at her age and you can get it over-the-counter from local vets, pet shops or online. Please, remember to repeat the treatment in two weeks time.

Looks like roundworms. There are many OTC dewormers that should work just fine. You can look for one that contains Pyrantel. It is still a good idea to have a vet diagnose what worms or other intestinal parasites are present. And Cujo will need re-treatment in 3 weeks to kill adults that hatch from eggs in the intestines right now.
