My puppy is peeing constantly. Why is she urinating so frequently?

If she continues this behavior, she will need to see a veterinarian to see if she has a urinary tract infection. It is a more likely condition in a female pup given their anatomy. This is likely what is going on with Hazel. She needs to be seen by your local vet for a urinalysis (urine test) and oral antibiotics if confirmed. In general any changes in urination should be evaluated by your vet. Specifically for your girl, we commonly associate a strong fish odor to the urine with certain bacterial urinary tract infections, so I would have your vet check a urine sample on her to assess for a urinary tract infection or any other abnormalities in her urine. Poor Rosie! I agree, this definitely sounds suspicious for a UTI. Unfortunately, this is not something you can treat yourself at home - she will need antibiotics from your vet to treat the infection. I would recommend taking her in tomorrow for an exam. Your veterinarian can do a urinalysis to confirm whether or not she has a UTI, and will prescribe an appropriate antibiotic to treat it if needed.

If she is leaking urine she also have have urinary incontinence. There are 2 medication options for urinary incontinence in female dogs: Proin or DES. I recommend making an appointment with your Vet today or tomorrow and bring a urine sample with you. If Polly has a UTI the Vet will likely prescribe antibiotics. She may have a urinary infection or a puppy vaginitis. I recommend having a urinalysis done and an exam to see if there is a medical problem. Your puppy may have a urinary tract infection. Since puppies can deteriorate very quickly (they heal quickly as well), I suggest you make an appointment with your veterinarian. He may need to be prescribed antibiotics and pain medicine.
