My puppy is crying and can't stand, not using one leg. What to do?

This could be due to joint pain or lower back discomfort. An exam with your veterinarian would be required to diagnose the exact cause. X-rays of the hind limbs, hips and lower spine may be recommended after the physical exam. Afterwards, your vet may dispense medication for pain relief. Do not medicate Bullet without speaking with your vet first. Many OTC medications can be toxic to dogs. In the meantime, restrict activity to just leash walks for elimination and avoid excessive running, jumping or rough play.

If things have not improved after seeing your veterinarian, I recommend that you have him reevaluated by your veterinarian so that this can be further assessed which will likely include radiographs. Poor Baby! If you believe her leg is broken than you should restrict her activity and keep her quiet until she can be seen by a vet. As for the bleeding, she may have some internal injuries from whatever cause her leg injury. Hopefully, with rest the bleeding will stop. Your vet can do a complete physical examination to determine the extent of her injuries and take xrays, if needed, to determine the best way to treat. If there is an emergency vet open than it would be a good idea to have her seen right away, especially if she seems to be in a lot if pain.

Unfortunately he is very lame. This could be a knee injury or infection. Please take him in tomorrow to have this examined. They will feel it and do an X-ray if needed. They will give him pain medication also. In the meantime keep him confined and take him out on a leash to potty only. Poor Nico! Nico needs to see his veterinarian today. A swollen leg could indicate infection, a soft tissue injury or even something like a fractured bone.
