My puppy chewed artificial nail glue. Is it toxic? What should I do?

Nail glue could cause irritation to the oral cavity or nausea and vomiting, but if only a small amount was ingested I doubt you'll see any signs. If Hiraku seems to be licking frequently, drooling, vomits or has a decrease in appetite I'd recommend seeing a vet.

Acetone can cause mouth irritation, so if you see excessive drooling or mouth pain (one sign of mouth pain is a decrease in appetite), take Daisy into a vet. Acetone can also cause irritation to the lungs if inhaled, and GI upset if any of the solution was swallowed. Monitor her for vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, trouble breathing, or lethargy. I would make sure he isn't breathing funny, coughing or sneezing. This could cause some irritation of the respiratory tract if inhaled. It could cause an upset stomach if ingested. Typically the glue of these traps are non-toxic, but I would put an Ecollar on Besitos to keep him from licking at the glue. You can make one at home, and I will put a link below on how to make one. This glue may be toxic to cats. Unfortunately, there is no specific information on this available. I suggest you vacuum the area thoroughly and wash your cat's paws, if there is a chance she stepped into some of the sugar with the glue.
