My puppy has a bumpy rash on her face and chest. What should I do?

My mom's puppy has a bumpy rash all over her face and chest. We are not sure what it is

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. I would recommend having a veterinarian examine her so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I suspect this could be secondary to demodex, which is a type of skin mite. There is likely also a bacterial skin infection that needs to be treated due to the potential primary mite infection.     The pictures are not very clear but it does not appear like the rash is moist or crusty or that she is scratching enough to damage the skin. I would recommend an aloe vera or oatmeal shampoo and monitor for any increase in symptoms. Be sure to keep up to date with parasite prevention with a product which is also effective against mites as a precaution
