Hello. Crate training takes time, so keep persevering. That being said, expect dogs to be able to hold their bladders the number of months they are in terms of hours, as a general rule. They can hold it a little longer at night. Expect to have to wake up in the middle of the night to let him outside. Bring him outside, let him pee, then right back inside into the crate. No playing or else he will get used to that. The whining and barking should subside soon. HAve fun with him!

It is normal for a puppy as young as Bella to need to go outside once at night. I'd recommend taking her outside when she starts whining: make sure you go straight outside because you don't want her to think this is play time. If she does not urinate or defecate bring her back inside and out her directly in the crate. If she starts whining again do your best to ignore her until the morning. This is generally something she should grow out of as long as you are consistent.

Relentless barking is typically a sign of anxiety. The anxiety is probably due to one a few different causes. If Pilot is typically used to being with you during the daytime and is forced to be separated at night this maybe a root cause of the anxiety. Another possibility is that Pilot is simply not being provided with an area in which he feels comfortable to rest. If you haven't already, I would recommend crate training him. There are tons of articles and YouTube videos on how to properly do this, the dos and don't of the training, and the size of crate you might need. Once the crate becomes Pilot's "den", it will be a comfortable place for him to stay. I think this is a good place to start. You also have to remain strong in terms of ignoring the barking. I realize it is extremely loud and irritating, but EVENTUALLY Pilot will stop on his own and tire out. If you give in to him, you are only shooting yourself and him in the foot unfortunately. I see that Rhea is still very young, only about 6 months old. I'm also not sure from your description if she is barking because she needs to go out and potty, or because she is anxious and lonely in her kennel. If she is needing to potty this often at night, I would be concerned that she may have a medical problem such as a UTI causing this - in that case, it would be best to take her to the vet to have this checked. If she doesn't need to potty but is just restless and upset in her kennel, I would first make sure that her kennel is in your bedroom - right next to your bed, if possible. It's not natural for puppies to be all alone at night, so many pups will cry if they are isolated in a separate room from their owners. Normally, moving her so that she is nearby resolves the problem - you can talk softly to her to reassure her if she wakes up and gets scared during the night.

You and your dog should stand far away enough from the other dog where your dog does not react anxiously or aggressively. Ask your dog to perform a command and then give it a treat. This method allows the dog to focus his attention on performing a command that you ask for, instead of focusing on the other dog. SLOWLY move closer and closer to the other dog while giving it treats. This technique should be practiced in short intervals, no longer than a few minutes, but as often as possible throughout the day. Remember that this may take a long time to change the behavior, as the behavior took a long time to develop. Please refer to your veterinarian for assistance with this technique. What should not be done: Do NOT verbally or physically punish your dog when it is barking. Do NOT emotionally react when your dog barks because your dog will feed off of your heightened emotional state. Try to remain as calm as possible.
