If I breed a pit bull with a mixed dog, will the puppies be pit bulls?

If I should make a pit bull mate with my mongrel will one of the puppies born as a pit bull??

Since the litter would receive half of its genes from the pit bull and half from your mixed breed, none of the puppies would be pit bulls. That said, the way genes are expressed can vary widely and it is possible that some of the puppies may strongly resemble pit bulls. It is equally possible that none of the puppies would resemble pit bulls. Genetics keep us on our toes and you never know exactly what will happen!

My purebred dog mated with two. Will puppies be purebred or mixed?

If another dog mated with Akira as well, there is certainly a chance that some or all of the puppies may be fathered by that dog rather than your male. There is no way to predict how many puppies (if any) will be mixed vs. how many will be purebred, since it's a matter of random chance when more than one male has mated with her. So I'm afraid you won't know until the puppies are born.

It is possible and did cross my mind. Some lines of labrador retrievers however also have very boxy heads (check out the English style labs) and other breeds such as boxers can also contribute the same genes for boxy heads as a pitbull.

Very interesting question! Crossbred dogs often avoid many of the health conditions which may be associated with their respective pedigree breeds and so are often considered 'healthier'. Breeding is not an exact science however and the genetics of breeding two 50:50 crossbred dogs together could result in a wide range of pups from close to 100% either breed to 50-50 of the mixture!

What will puppies from a Norwich Terrier and mixed breed look like?

Puppies will not grow bigger than the mom and dad. There is a possibility that you will get some puppies that will have a rough coat, and some that will have a smooth coat. Some will look more like a terrier and the others more like the mom. Colorwise they can be spotted like the mom, or wheaten like the dad, or both, wheaten with black spots. This should be very interesting!
