How to tell if my puppy is a Pitbull mix? What's her actual breed?

Your puppy is very cute! It is important to remember that visual identification is inaccurate 75% of the time. However if I had to guess, I think there is some pitbull terrier in your pup. It is likely that your pup is a mix of several different breeds. It is also possible that boxer or Boston terrier is present in the heritage. I recommend to speak with your veterinarian if genetic testing is available in your area. That is the most accurate way to know the heritage.

What a cutie. My guess would be pit bull mix, with a combo of at least 3-4 breeds. If you'd like to know his background there are genetic tests you can do for fun. Embark and Wisdom Panel are both companies that offer this service. Enjoy your new addition!

I see Rat terrier in his face in the middle picture. We may never know. Hi and thank you for your question on PetCoach! From the pictures (cute by the way), I would say Eli may be a Bichon Frise or Bichon Frise mix. You can find out exactly what Eli is through genetic testing. It is a little expensive but is interesting and that way you can know for sure. Zeus is one handsome guy! He certainly appears to be a Pit Bull mix, but it is impossible to precisely determine the other breeds in his mix simply by sight. From his appearance, I agree that German Shepherd or Labrador may be in the mix too. If you want a more precise answer, consider looking into a DNA test (Wisdom Panel - http://www.wisdompanel.com).
