My male dog licks my female puppy's vulva. Is it normal? Should I stop?

This sounds somewhat unusual. If the skin is raw where the mother has been licking, then the pups may need to be separated from her until it has a chance to heal. You can still allow them to nurse under supervision several times a day, or you may need to bottle feed them if she won't leave them alone while they nurse. I would recommend having a vet take a look at the puppies to make sure that taking them away from mom is necessary, and they may also need antibiotics depending on how raw the skin is.

Yes, she may be going into heat (it is a bit early) but she could also have a urinary tract infection or vaginitis. I suggest you have her checked by your vet. If you are not planning on breeding the dogs please have them fixed before they do end up breeding.

Hi, if the liquid is coming out from her genital area, it could either be an infection (very common in older female dogs that have not been neutered) or if your dog is young could be juvenile vaginitis. She is grooming the area in order to keep it clean, I would not worry about this. I would recommend to have your dog checked over as is she has an infection she will need treatment ASAP. Possible causes are: burning feeling from a UTI or crystals in her urine, impacted anal glands or skin issue or fleas on the back part of her. I would put her in the tub and rinse her off back there to see if it helps. If she is still agitated and crying then I would collect a urine sample and have her seen by a vet this morning. If you think Juju could be in heat then there may not be anything to be concerned about. If she is not in heat then blood would be abnormal and could be a sign of a urinary tract infection or other lower urinary disease. If she is not in heat I’d recommend having her examined by your vet.
