Is this a Pomeranian puppy? Can you estimate its age for me?

I am not able to tell from the picture how old your puppy is. The best way to get an accurate age estimate is to have a veterinarian evaluate the puppy. If the puppy’s teeth have erupted then he is at least 6 weeks old. It would also be helpful to know his breed, how much he weighs now, and how big the parents were. I hope this helps. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! He is a mixed breed dog with predominant features of a Jack Russell terrier. To better predict his age, it would be helpful to examine his mouth specifically his dentition. However, he is probably about 3 months old. Good luck and have a great day!

From the pictures, it does look like he may be a german shepherd or similar breed It is hard to estimate age from pictures, but he is clearly young (under a year). I would recommend if he was found, he be taken to a veterinary office for a check-up and to be scanned for a microchip.

Hello. If her teeth are just beginning to grow big, & based on how she looks in your pictures, I would say she is about 4-5 months old. It is very difficult to say exactly what breed she is, but I can see a little chow or spitz in her. she looks like she is going to be pretty fluffy. This would require an examination but keep in mind that even then, it would only be an estimation of the age. She is adorable! Best of luck!

Hi, thanks for using Petcoach! Chowder is very cute! I think he is too young to tell and we would need more pictures. For fun if you want to run a home DNA test you can buy them online. I don't find them very accurate though. If you want to send more pictures or post a gain when he/s bigger it may help.
