What breed and age is this stray dog that showed up at my house?

To better predict his age, it would be helpful to examine his mouth specifically his dentition. However, he is probably about 3 months old. Good luck and have a great day!

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! They are mixed breed dogs with German shorthaired pointer, Beagle and possibly some Pitbull in my opinion. You could consider having them DNA tested to know more precisely. Best of luck!

While it is difficult to say definitively what Leo may be, he sure is cute. He may be a mix of dachshund & chihuahua, or might even have a little corgi in him. Have him examined by a veterinarian as soon as possible. He can tell you hold old Leo is, check his stool for parasites, & start him on age appropriate vaccinations. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Lucky is very cute! He looks to be a German Shepherd mix. Maybe with Chow or Shar Pei based on the small ears and the look of his face in the first picture. I hope this helps!

I would say that he has some characteristics of a Newfoundland and a Bernese mountain dog. I would say that he is likely to be a medium-sized breed dog to perhaps a bit larger. Good luck!
