Is it okay to switch my 7-week-old husky puppy's food to Eukanuba?

Royal canin is a great food! If you have some of the old food left I would mix The old food with the new food for about 10 days. You will want to start out with mostly old food and small amount of new food for the first few days and then gradually add more new food. By day 5-6, you should be at 50:50 of old:new dog food. After that you will slowly decrease the amount of old food until you are just giving the new food. For his size, he should get about 3 cups of the new food when you are switched completely over. You may need to adjust this as he continues to grow. I hope this helps!

However, it is important to continue her on puppy food for at least another 2-3 months. This will let her grow appropriately as needed. It is important that puppies are on a good quality puppy food in order to support their growth and development. All new foods can cause some diarrhoea and it helps to introduce new foods over a few days as well as adding probiotics to help the bowel. If he is currently tolerating wet food best then a puppy wet formula would be recommended. Ensure also he is up to date with deworming treatments as intestinal worms can contribute to such signs also

I personally recommend Eukanuba. I do not like Blue Buffalo at all, I've seen a number of dogs have health issues on it such as gastroenteritis, plus there is no quality control over their food. They do not own their own factories and send their recipes to other factories to make it. Finally, they do not have a veterinary nutritionist on staff to make sure the food is nutritionally balanced like Eukanuba has. I definitely would buy her Eukanuba. Hi, try not to switch and change Nova's food too often as she may get a stomach upset. Also if she's getting lots of treats for training she may be full and not want to eat her main puppy food. His teeth will be fine. Kibble isn't hard enough to fracture teeth, only antlers, bones and some toys can wear down teeth over time. However, you should try softening it a bit until he is used to the kibble and a bit stronger so that he an easily eat his food. It is important for puppies to have puppy food or a food labeled for all life stages so they can grow appropriately, so I would recommend exchanging the food. A 6 week old puppy should have all of his baby teeth coming in and should be able to eat kibble, although he may still prefer canned food.
