How to give my dog Cerenia for nausea? What does 1/4 tablet mean?

Oh no, I know you must be worried but mistakes do happen! The good news is that there is a wide dose range of Cerenia for dogs, and even giving her the 60mg tablet is still well within the normal and safe dose range at her weight. The phosphate binder needs to be given with every meal as this is where dogs get their source of phosphorus. Hello. Both the Cerenia & Doxycycline can be crushed & mixed with just about any food or liquid you like. The Doxycycline will be very bitter tasting if just mixed with water, so you might try hiding it in any type of food except dairy. Avoid any milk or cheese with this antibiotic. I would give the cerenia about an hour prior to the clavamox. Food should be given with the clavamox as well. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction.
