How to give dog kidney meds: Cerenia & phosphate binder together?

Poor girl! Yes you can safely give Cerenia and Buprenorphine on the same day and even at he same time, if needed. If she has kidney disease then subcutaneous fluids will also help with that. I know th Cerenia helps with her vestibular disease because it mostly is helping with her nausea. However Cerenia is only safe to give for 5 consecutive days. After that time frame I would suggest asking your vet for motion sickness medication (Dimenhydramine) that can be given long term, if needed. I hope your kitty feels better soon!

It is best to mix it with canned cat food. I suggest not keeping food out for her all the time so that way she is hungry when you go to feed her. She will be more likely to eat it all. 1/4 tablet means to give 1/4 of a single tablet. So if you have a box of 4 tablets, you essentially have 16 individual doses you can give. I would only recommend giving this every 24 hours as well. I would have your Vet get a urine sample and a blood pressure. This will help stage Ike's renal disease. Prescription renal diets are highly recommend to slow progression of disease.
