Is dry puppy food okay for my 2-month-old Labrador puppy?

That should be OK for one bag. If possible after this bag I would go back to a puppy food for another month or two months depending on how large your puppy is. Some labs will continue to grow for 12 to 18 months of age others plateau around 10 to 12 months. If there's any doubt if your puppy us on the growing stage you can ask your veterinarian.

A Labrador puppy should be on a large breed puppy food until 15months. A starter food can be used from 2-8weeks as it can be easier to soften and can be fed slightly warm. Be sure to keep up to date with deworming medication and offer additional meals of scrambled egg, canned puppy food or boiled chicken to increase energy intake until stronger

Yes you can start mixing dry food with canned food. You may have to soften it with some warm water at first but they should be able to transition to plain dry food pretty soon. I would put the puppies on puppy food to help them grow. I recommend puppy food until they are 1 year old. The mom should be on adult food now that she isn’t nursing them anymore. I hope this helps.

Hello, at this age, Roma should be on a good puppy food. You can use a canned or dry kibble ( or mix the 2 ), or you can moisten the dry with a little water. Just do not make it soupy as you will dilute the nutrients. At about 3 months of age, I would switch to a large breed puppy food that you can continue until Roma is 12-15 months old, then change over to an adult maintenance food. At 75days of age, she is old enough to just be on a high quality kibble puppy food. There are many great foods available out there. Avoid grain free unless its verified that she has an allergy to grain. If she seems "not as healthy," though, get her in to the vet for an exam. Labs have a tendency to grow too fast, and as they get older to get fat. Therefore I like to use Nutro large breed puppy dry, then switch to adult large breed, and weight management later in life if needed. I like Nutro because it’s a complete diet and lower in calorie than most of the other dog foods. Dogs like it and there are several different Nutro varieties for you to choose from. Trusty can of course eat dry food! Sometimes if they seem uninterested you can add a little warm water to soften the food but this most likely is not needed. I would recommend sticking with a basic hard puppy food and not mixing in human foods. Giving human food to dogs is a hard habit to break the earlier you start it. IF Trusty is on a well rounded dog food she should not need supplementation. Hope that helps
