My dog has yellow watery poop and yellow eye gunk. What's wrong?

Maggie is very ill and needs to see a veterinarian right away. The yellow color could be because she has liver disease or she has a red blood cell disorder going on. She needs to have bloodwork and xrays done as soon as possible to figure out what is wrong and help her to feel better.

Poor Oreo! Bloodshot eyes and discharge (especially yellow or green discharge) or "eye boogers" are usually signs of an eye infection. Oreo will need prescription eye drops to treat the infection, so I would recommend taking him to the vet to have this checked as soon as you are able to. In the meantime, you can try rinsing his eyes with plain saline eye wash and using a warm washcloth to gently wipe away any discharge as often as needed. This will not treat the underlying problem, but may help to make Oreo a bit more comfortable until you are able to see the vet.

Poor Finn! Eye discharge is most often caused by an eye infection or a corneal injury such as a scratch or ulcer. Diarrhea in a puppy this age is often caused by intestinal parasites, an upset stomach due to something he ate, or an infection of some kind. I would recommend taking Finn to the vet as soon as you are able to - he/she can do a fecal exam to check for parasites or other problems, and will also examine his eyes to determine what is causing the discharge. The vet will prescribe appropriate medication to treat these issues depending on what is found.

From these pictures, Milos eyes seem normal. However, if you are concerned you can have your veterinarian perform an ophthalmic exam to be sure there is no problem. With regard to the diarrhea, this could be due to a bacterial, parasitic or fungal infection or it could mean that Milo ate something he should not have eaten. You can try putting Milo on a bland diet of boiled chicken and rice for a few days. However, if the diarrhea does not resolve, you will need to have him examined by your veterinarian.

The eyes are of course very vital sense organs and bad things can happen rather quickly with them. This may just be an allergy or possibly an infection so your vet can assess her and then advise some tests to further evaluate the eyes. Staining of the cornea will reveal scratches or ulcers, tear production can be tested for if needed, along with the pressure inside of the eye. While there they can also advise you about her bowel movements. Likely causes of that include worms/parasites in the intestines, dietary indiscretion (eating things she shouldn't be eating), food intolerance/sensitivity, among many other things. Your vet can run a fecal exam and advise dewormers and any other treatment for both the eyes and her gut. I hope everything works out well

Poor Coco! When you say Loose motions do you mean loose bowel movements? If so, you could try some plain boiled boneless, skinless chicken and white rice to help settle her tummy. They eye is of concern as well. The symptoms she is show could be that she has an ulcer or a scratch on the eye or even a conjunctivitis. I would strongly recommend seeing your vet. Your vet will be able to determine the cause of both problems and get her started on the proper med to make her feel better. I hope this helps !

These signs could be compatible with a colitis, which is an inflammation of the last part of the intestine, the colon, usually related to dietary indiscretion. As a first approach, I would suggest to start feeding with a bland diet based on boiled chicken and rice in small portion every 6 hours for the following 48hours. Then gradually reintroduce the normal diet over 5 days. I would definitively recommend a veterinary check up if the signs persist or you notice vomiting, lethargy or inappetence. Eye problem seems completely unrelated and may be due to a mild conjunctivitis. At the moment you can just clean the eye/s with plain water, removing the discharge.
