Why is my dog pooping yellow after his shots but acting normal?

Take a stool sample in to your vet to be examined. If he is acting normally, playful, eating, has good energy, etc, I don't think you need to be too concerned, but do take him in and bring a stool sample with you. Your vet may recommend deworming him if it hasn't been done within the last 2 weeks. I doubt its related to his vaccines. Vaccine reactions typically occur within hours of the vaccine being given, and it sounds like there was enough of a delay that its not likely the cause. In terms of you "felt something," when your hand was on his stomach, I suspect you were feeling gas moving through the GI tract, which is normal. This is not likely to be related to the vaccine, it could potentially be related to the heartworm medicine but it is more likely to be as a result of something he ingested. Keep an eye on his appetite and stools in the next 48 hours, if it is getting worse- take him to the vet to get treated.

Hello! Sounds like Gus vomitted up some bile. As long as this was the only instance of vomit and he otherwise appears to be acting like himself, I would not worry. It's unlikely that the vomit is related to the vaccines as vaccine reactions typically happen immediately or within a couple of hours after administration of the vaccine. Based on the fact that Teddy is acting normal, there may not be anything serious going on. I would recommend to have his stool checked for parasites including Giardia. These are easy tests and would account for the change in his stool character. If these tests are negative, you may choose to do nothing else except monitor him. Some parasites can be spread to people so it is worthwhile to have it checked out. I hope this answers your question!

His poop is bright yellow b/c of his current diet (just rice and cottage cheese). He should have some protein in there, so I would suggest adding chicken or ground turkey. Also as long as he is not straining to poop, there is no cause for concern for the fewer stools, especially since he isn't eating anything with much substance. As long as he is acting normal, there is no major cause for concern here. Slowly transition him back to his normal diet once your vet says he is good to do so, and his stools should return to normal. I'm sorry to hear that Bullet is having trouble with his bowel movements. There are some reasons that he would have mucoid/yellow colored diarrhea. He could have dietary indiscretion causing gastroenteritis (eating something that didn't agree with him), intestinal parasites or something more systemic. If your dog is not eating, acting lethargic and having diarrhea or anything else concerning, I would take him to your veterinarian to get a full check up. If your dog is eating and doing well otherwise, you can try some supportive care at home such as a bland diet (boiled chicken and rice) and see if his stools become more normal. If so, you can continue the diet for 2-3 days and slowly transition him back to his normal food. If he does not get better, I recommend taking him to your veterinarian.

That could be possibly the consequence of the deworming tablet which is causing some stomach upset. I would recommend to start a bland diet based on boiled chicken and rice every 6 hours in small portions for the next 3 days. Then gradually go back to normal diet through the following week. If the signs persist or if you notice vomiting, inappetence or lethargy a check up at your local veterinarian would be needed.
