Why is my dog suddenly wobbling, dazed, and acting like he's drunk?

I don't see how looking out the window and the drunk walking are related to each other. If he has never seen a vet I would be worried he could have one of the dog viruses that causes neurological signs. The other option is that he ingested a toxin of some sort. He really needs to see a vet. Neurological signs are never good.

Certainly sounds like Tony is experiencing some sort of neurologic episode. While a toxin can definitely cause sudden neurological symptoms, so can inflammatory and infectious conditions, trauma, and some circulatory issues. Though Tony sounds pretty stable, I would not hesitate long in taking him to the veterinarian. There may be other clinical signs that are less obvious to you that require intervention. Two dogs with the same weird symptoms sounds like a toxicity of some sort. I suggest you check the surroundings for anything they may be ingesting (a plant, any type of poison, cleaning solution, etc). If they are walking drunk-like that is a problem and you should be somewhat worried.

This is rather concerning and indicates that he is having some disturbance within the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord). This could also be a problem within his inner ear and vestibular system. These disturbances can happen with drug or poison ingestion, infections, or a physical abnormality within the brain or spinal cord due to trauma, or a tumor. Jake is behaving this way because he is either confused, or in a great amount of pain and distress. Given the possibility of a life-threatening complication, I recommend you take Jake to the emergency vet as soon as you can. They can help find the cause of this and provide the necessary treatment. Difficulty walk or standing, also known as ataxia, is definitely a cause for concern. This may be caused by neurological issues or a toxin. Xhesi should be seen by a vet immediately to determine the cause and be stabilized if necessary.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Kohel! Is there a chance that he could have gotten in to Marijuana? I agree it does sound like he could have gotten in to a toxin. Be sure that he didn't have access to anti-freeze. If there is ANY chance he could have it is deadly and immediate intervention is needed. The best thing for both dogs is to be seen at an Emergency hospital.
