Why does my dog have a white lump by his eye and ear infection?

In the picture, it looks like a mass to me, so I would recommend going to Rey's vet to have it sampled (quick, easy, no sedation required) and the cells looked at under a microscope to see if it's something concerning. Young dogs can get a benign mass called a histiocytoma that goes away on it's own eventually, which would be my first guess. Your vet might say it's a wart when they see it in person, in which case no sampling is needed, but keeping Rey away from other dogs until it's been gone for 2 weeks is a good idea because the virus that causing warts is very contagious. So, you don't need to be highly concerned, but should have it looked at.

They look like papiloma warts. They should go away on their own. They are due to a virus and will regress once the puppy's immune system kicks in. If they are not bothering him then I suggest you leave them alone and stop treating them. You may be making them worse. Hope this helps. Best wishes.

Growths that appear on the face, head, and feet of very young dogs are often papillomas, a wart like growth that usually pops up and then goes away on its own within 3- 4 weeks.These are contagious between dogs, so if Artemis has been playing with other dogs you might check with their owners to see if they have seen anything similar. You can check out Google for images of papillomas in dogs and see if what you're seeing in her is similar. I would probably give the vet a call tomorrow to mention that you've seen another, and see if he wants to have a look.

I would not be concerned about this. It looks to be either a papilloma wart or a histiocytoma (benign tumor) both of which are common in young dogs. Jager looks like he may have canine papilloma virus on his lip. This is a common viral infection that is transmitted between dogs and generally goes away on it's own in 2-4 weeks. Unfortunately I cannot tell what is going on with his eye by the picture alone. I would recommend you take him in to your vet for an exam as his eye may need further treatment like a topical antibiotic for a potential stye or infected tear duct. The lump on his mouth can be checked at the same time to ensure that it is just a papilloma and not a concern.

Based on Dolly's age, this is likely what we call a viral papilloma caused by the papilloma virus. These regress on their own (typically within 1-5 months). These are contagious to other dogs so trying to limit exposure to other dogs is definitely something to consider. If a papilloma does not regress on its own or it becomes larger, there are various treatments that can be used such as oral Azithromycin (has been shown to reduce size or resolve papillomas within 10 days in some cases), freezing of the papillomas and surgical removal. For now, I would keep an eye on this and see if it regresses on its own. If at any time it increases in size or does not resolve, I would recommend having a veterinarian examine Dolly so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made.
