Why is my dog losing weight quickly but eating, with strange eyes?

It sounds like she should be examined by a vet to determine the cause of her problems. It is very concerning that she is thin and weak and your vet can run some lab-work to screen for kidney disease, liver disease, endocrine diseases, etc. Your vet can also take x-rays, if needed, to look for any abnormalities that would cause decreased appetite and weight loss. She could also have a problem with her teeth and your vet can do a dental evaluation. She may need an antibiotic to treat a conjunctivitis. Please call a vet and schedule a check up.

I would be very concerned about that amount of weight loss and I doubt it would be related to fleas alone. Kidney disease, diabetes or certain types of cancer could cause weight loss and an increase in water consumption. I would recommend seeing a veterinarian- they may recommend checking some blood work after a physical exam.

She is getting to be consider a senior pet. Due to that they can develop diabetes or kidney disease or cancer or some other metabolic disease causing the weight loss. A vet is the best option to run blood work to check for these disease as some are more manageable than others. If she goes untreated, you may notice the weight loss continue and even vomiting or diarrhea ensue due to advanced disease. On average it is more economic to treat and manage a disease when they are healthy, so the sooner the better you can find a way to take Roxy in the better. Different clinics might accept different forms of payment, so it may be worth checking around

Poor Keema. When pets don't respond to treatment as expected, it can mean that the real cause of the illness has not been identified and the appropriate treatment has not been started. I recommend to call your veterinarian again and have Keema examined again. She should have bloodwork to check for signs of kidney or liver disease. She may also need radiographs to look for cancerous tumors. Until the cause of her illness is discovered, it may be difficult to find an effective treatment. I would have x-rays taken of her abdomen and chest to start. With the sudden weight gain, I am concerned that maybe what you are seeing is something going in inside the abdomen such as a hemorrhage or bloat.
