Pet's info: Dog | Jack Russell Terrier | Female | spayed | 1 year and 11 months old
I noticed my dog go to snap at a wasp (30 mins ago) and I think she did have it very briefly in her mouth. I told her to leave it and she did straight away, I wasn’t sure if she was stung, she was licking her lips a bit but stopped after a minute. There’s no signs of swelling or irritation, is it likely she will be fine? Thanks

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It could take a couple of days to go down without medication. It should get a little smaller each day. As long as that is the only swelling (meaning no hives) and he’s eating and drinking ok you can continue to monitor him. Kisses to Bear!
