My dog is vomiting yellow foam and doing downward dog. Vet needed?

This much vomiting is not normal. Tifa needs to be seen by a vet for an exam as soon as possible. Please understand that vomiting is a very non-specific symptom. Almost anything can cause vomiting. Your vet needs to do an exam and maybe some testing (blood and/or x-rays) to figure out what is going on. I'm glad she is acting OK and you don't think her abdomen is painful, but no offense, you are not properly trained to palpate the abdomen correctly. The vet will need to do that and will be able to assess pain as well as feeling the integrity of the organs. The stomach itself is up under the ribcage and cannot be palpated. Dogs can act seemingly normal but still have something wrong underlying.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Marvin! Sadly I agree! If Marvin is going in the prayer position (downward dog) that indicates abdominal pain. With vomiting that makes me worried about a foreign body or pancreatitis. Very bad gas can cause abdominal pain. I would take him in for X-rays and blood work. It is concerning that he has thrown up so many times in just a few hours. I would most certainly have him seen by a veterinarian ASAP. He may have stomach inflammation or a more serious issue like a gastrointestinal obstruction.

With an allergic reaction, typically I would expect to see hives and swelling, not necessarily vomiting. Zada could have a severe GI illness, may have eaten something rotten, could have a foreign body, or could have pancreatitis. I think she sounds sick enough to need to see a vet now. If there is any abdominal enlargement or pain he needs to be assessed by a vet as an emergency - non-productive/white foamy vomit is very concerning in a dog which is eating as it can indicate an obstruction. A pancreatitis blood test may also be required depending on the results of the physical exam

Poor Barnaby sounds very sick at the moment! Vomiting and diarrhea can be caused by a number of things including GI illness, eating something rotten or toxic, a foreign body, or pancreatitis to name a few. HIs vomit is likely yellow from bile acids as his stomach will be empty from all the previous vomiting. Whenever a dog has both vomiting and diarrhea, and has vomited multiple times like he has, it's time to see a vet. The best thing you can do for him is take him into a vet now for care. Poor Bentley. I am quite concerned about him and his symptoms and without seeing him in person, I can't say for sure it will be ok to wait until Monday. In this case, yes I think it's best you go tonight. I hope this helps!
