My dog vomited yellow foam, now lethargic. Should I see a vet?

Poor Barnaby sounds very sick at the moment! Vomiting and diarrhea can be caused by a number of things including GI illness, eating something rotten or toxic, a foreign body, or pancreatitis to name a few. HIs vomit is likely yellow from bile acids as his stomach will be empty from all the previous vomiting. Whenever a dog has both vomiting and diarrhea, and has vomited multiple times like he has, it's time to see a vet. The best thing you can do for him is take him into a vet now for care. I'm sorry to hear Hansou isn't feeling well. I would wait a few hours and see what happens. Don't feed him again tonight but in 2-3 hours offer a small amount of water. If he keeps that down you can continue to offer small amounts of water until morning. If he hasn't vomited all night, offer 1/3 of her normal breakfast and wait an hour. If he vomits again, take him to a vet. They will probably want to check blood work and X-rays. Good luck and kisses to Hansou!

Vomiting can be observed with conditions such as gastroenteritis, pancreatitis, dietary indiscretion, gastrointestinal foreign body ingestion and obstruction, among other possibilities. For this reason, I highly recommend that you have Diesel evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment as soon as possible as I am afraid he is likely becoming dehydrated. They would be able to check for these possibilities and also check his hydration status and give him medications to make him feel better. Good luck!

It is concerning that he has thrown up so many times in just a few hours. I would most certainly have him seen by a veterinarian ASAP. He may have stomach inflammation or a more serious issue like a gastrointestinal obstruction.

Yes, you should take her to your vet for an exam. The downward dog position is probably from some sort of pain or discomfort in her abdomen. The vomiting and not eating also goes along with that. Please take her to a vet as soon as possible.

I would not be overly worried about a single episode of vomiting but I cannot make this call for you. You know your dog best so if you are worried then you should take her in now for an exam. If you want to just watch her for a few hours you can. I would not wait days though. If you monitor her for a few hours and the vomiting continues or she starts with other symptoms (diarrhea, not eating, etc) then she should definitely see a vet.
