Why is my cocker spaniel vomiting milky substance with a neck wound?

It sounds as Cooper is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an antibiotic course and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

This sounds serious so I recommend a veterinary exam right away. With a small dog they can get dehydrated very quickly and the sooner the vomiting and diarrhea are controlled the better he’ll be. They will probably give fluids in addition to medication for the vomiting and diarrhea, and may do lab tests to find the cause. I recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They can flush it and clean it well and start him on antibiotics. He will get better on the right therapy. They can also examine him for possible causes of vomiting such as gastroenteritis and perhaps start him on something for nausea. Have a good night!

That is odd. I recommend to have Hersey examined again by the veterinarian. Without an exam, it's impossible to know if the bloated belly is related to the skin condition or is something else. Bloated tummies can indicate many things from mild constipation to endocrine disease to fluid in the abdomen (which is bad). He may need an x-ray to figure out what is going on. The skin lesions could also represent a few things. Allergies or autoimmune conditions typically respond to steroids. A minor ski irritation would also respond. I recommend to ask your veterinarian what they think is going on. An endocrine disease could cause skin lesions but they may or may not clear up with steroids. Lastly, a change in gum color could indicate a change in the blood pressure, a change in fluid status in the body or even blood loss (if they are pale). I recommend to have Hershey examined today. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Thanks for the pictures! Some benign skin bumps, especially sebaceous adenomas can produce discharge. If the bump has been oozing puss and blood it is best to have your Vet re-evaluate it to either: 1) shave the fur, clean it and provide antibiotics or 2) discuss removing it since it has changed and now may continue to be a source of irritation and infection for Cooper.
