My dog is vomiting every morning and has wounds that won't heal.

I’m so sorry to hear about Rooney. If the spitting up is happening after a cough, this could be a terminal retch (they cough so hard they gag/spit up). In this case, I’d call the vet and ask for a cough suppressant to calm the coughing. You can send a video clip to experts@Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.co if you are still worried. Main warning signs for me are difficulty breathing, if the amount or sound of the coughing changes, if Rooney stops eating, or becomes very lethargic. If see a vet pronto if any of those occur. Hello, and thanks for your question about Cooper. From the photo, it looks like Cooper may have some sort of focal skin infection, or possibly a little growth (cysts are very common in his breed). The vomit photo looks like normal stomach bile with some undigested food. I recommend having Cooper seen by your vet. They can determine the best course of action for that skin (antibiotics, surgical removal, etc) as it is unlikely to resolve with anything over the counter, and can help determine why Cooper has an upset stomach. I would recommend he be evaluated by his regular veterinarian to determine if he needs stitches, etc based on what the underlying cause for his lesion is and to start any treatment (antibiotics, anti-inflammatory) that may be needed. Vomiting can be observed with conditions such as gastroenteritis, pancreatitis, dietary indiscretion, gastrointestinal foreign body ingestion and obstruction, among other possibilities. For this reason, I highly recommend that you have Bambi evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment as soon as possible as I am afraid he is likely becoming dehydrated. They would be able to check for these possibilities and also check his hydration status and give him medications to make him feel better. Good luck!

I recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They can flush it and clean it well and start him on antibiotics. He will get better on the right therapy. They can also examine him for possible causes of vomiting such as gastroenteritis and perhaps start him on something for nausea. Have a good night!

She may be having side effects to the medications administered. Hair loss and scratching are likely due to allergies. For this reason, I highly recommend that you have Shelby evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment as soon as possible as I am afraid she is likely becoming dehydrated. This could be an infection such as kennel cough or pneumonia. I would recommend having him examined by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made.
