My dog is vomiting, has a fever, won't eat or drink. What's wrong?

Based on the symptoms you have outlined, I would guess that Chai most likely has some sort of infection somewhere within the body. Given that there is some vomiting, a reasonable assumption would be somewhere within the digestive tract, liver, or pancreas. Only blood work would provide us with enough information to at least point us in one direction or another. Chai is going to require some medications to address the vomiting and fever, as well as some fluids most likely to correct any dehydration that is taking place. If there is an infection somewhere within the body, at least one antimicrobial drug will be required to clear things up. I don't know about the Philippines, but in USA most of the drugs that will be required to help Chai are prescription only, meaning you will have to find a veterinarian to help you. Some other possibilities other than an infection would include organ failure, an endocrine condition called Addison's disease, and even cancer. The lethargy, shaking or trembling, being withdrawn, and hanging her head down certainly can indicate that she is in pain or discomfort somewhere. Not eating or drinking can also by a sign of pain or that there is a problem with her intestinal tract or other systems in her body. All of these signs do not point to one specific problem, however, they do tell us that Chloe is definitely ill. Poor Puchku sounds pretty sick at the moment! I'm not sure if he is vaccinated or not, but if he isn't, he could be suffering form parvo. He could also have a severe GI illness, may have eaten something rotten, could have a foreign body, or could have pancreatitis. I would have him seen by a vet for these symptoms. The vet can diagnose what is causing his symptoms and can treat him for it. I hope this helps!

While extreme heat can cause heat stroke or heat exhaustion that could result in vomiting or diarrhea that doesn't sound like the case for Oskar. Heat stroke also causes weakness and difficulty breathing, and animals do not typically recover without intervention. Something else may have triggered the vomiting and diarrhea - it's possible that Oskar ate something he shouldn't, or that he has one of the other numerous diseases that can cause these signs. If he still is not eating or drinking I'd recommend seeing a veterinarian. Some of the tests they may recommend to determine what is causing Oskar's illness include blood work, abdominal x-rays or a fecal analysis. They might also recommend symptomatic treatment for his lack of appetite.

Oh my. Poor guy. If he has a fever this can be caused by a bacterial or viral infection (i.e. Parvovirus if he isn't fully vaccinated). I would have him tested for parvovirus first and if that comes up negative he needs full panel bloodwork and a urinalysis. to fully evaluate him. He should be on antibiotics and fluid therapy to help bring down his fever. He also needs anti-vomit medication to prevent him from becoming dehydrated due to excessive vomiting. If his condition has not improved within 24-48 hrs, then you should consider having him hospitalized so that he can get around the clock care and treatment. Poor guy. I do hope that your pup Shadow is able to make a full and speedy recovery from his illness. For tonight you can try feeding him some slghly warmed up cans of baby food (meat and vegetables or squash) to try to entice him to eat. Given that Reign is vomiting the chicken and barely drinking water, it's time to see a vet. You've tried a home remedy and she can't keep it down. She needs a shot to stop the vomiting, IV fluids for hydration, and any other treatment the vet deems necessary. Please take her into a vet immediately.
