My dog is vomiting, has diarrhea, lethargy, and a fever. Is she okay?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | 3 months and 7 days old

Eva is vomiting sleeping a lot and has dirrea she not her self I think she has a fever I been lowering it with an ice pack but it weired cuz then she will play with me then the next minute she is really sick plz help me asap plz am really worried because I can't afford to take her to the vet I love her with all my heart an scared that something might happen to her.

These signs are compatible with a severe gastrointestinal infection.Unfortunately a check up would be the ideal solution as antibiotics may be needed to solve the possible infection and before clinical condition becomes critical. You can try to switch her diet to a more digestible one based on boiled chicken and rice but other than that a check up is really essential.

Poor Remington! I would recommend you take him in to a vet for an exam and treatment. That much diarrhea in a dog is likely not just a stomach bug. I worry that he is getting dehydrated after having that much diarrhea. He may have intestinal parasites, eaten something he shouldn't have and a secondary colitis, or even a bacterial or viral infection. I suspect he needs to have a fecal check done for intestinal parasites as well as started on some medication to calm down and soothe his intestinal tract. I like to feed dogs with an upset stomach either prescription bland food or boiled chicken and rice as it is easily digested. He may need dog probiotics to help replace the good bacteria in his gut as well. Diarrhea is no fun for the dog or for the owner who has to clean it up! I would try to get him seen by a vet and treated as soon as possible to get him back on track as fast as possible.

My dog is weak, vomiting, and has diarrhea. Should I go to the vet?

It sounds as Fify is suffering from a serious gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need to have an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

My dog has a fever, is vomiting, and won't eat. What should I do?

Based on the symptoms you have outlined, I would guess that Chai most likely has some sort of infection somewhere within the body. Given that there is some vomiting, a reasonable assumption would be somewhere within the digestive tract, liver, or pancreas. Only blood work would provide us with enough information to at least point us in one direction or another. Chai is going to require some medications to address the vomiting and fever, as well as some fluids most likely to correct any dehydration that is taking place. If there is an infection somewhere within the body, at least one antimicrobial drug will be required to clear things up. I don't know about the Philippines, but in USA most of the drugs that will be required to help Chai are prescription only, meaning you will have to find a veterinarian to help you. Some other possibilities other than an infection would include organ failure, an endocrine condition called Addison's disease, and even cancer. Hello, sorry to hear about Anya. Most GI sings of diarrhea may resolve with a bland diet of plain white rice, skinless and boneless chicken, and low fat cottage cheese. However, other more severe causes of this such as liver or kidney disease, inflammation of the bowel, and ingestion of foreign material may will require that your veterinarian examine Anya. If she develops persistent vomiting or diarrhea then I would recommend having her evaluated by her primary care veterinarian as she may need bloodwork and x-rays to be prescribed the adequate medications. In the interim, monitor her for persistent vomiting (more than 3 episodes in 1 day), diarrhea with blood, severe lethargy, or loss of appetite and contact your veterinarian if you note any.
